My fascination continues

Anything and everything, "driftless", catches my attention.  The more I learn, the more fascinated I become.  Which means more searching, reading, and watching.  Check out this cool documentary.  It'll take 26 minutes of your life to watch, but I think it's worth it.

  1. There is so much to see and do. I'd love to spend a few weeks there exploring and fishing.

    1. Me too! When I was there in June, I fished 6 streams in 1 county...I felt like I left w/o seeing anything. Not to mention the other 3 states. I might skip a few salt trips this fall and head north.

  2. That looks awesome, and I had never heard of it before the video. The kayaking looks a lot more fun than kayaking on the lakes here in Arkansas.

    1. Matt, I made my first trip in June (see RT 2015) I wasn't sure what to expect. The area reminds me a lot of the Ozarks, the rivers especially. Lots of caves and taverns where the water drains underground and filters into a river miles away...pretty cool. What was really awesome was all the wading access...miles of streams open to the public. I only saw 3 people fishing in 3 days. Unfortunately, heavy rains cut my trip short before I could put my kayak in the water...gonna do that next time.
