Still here

Still here....fishing daily and playing with the GoPro.  Check out the video.  Until the weather warms or I get a chance to sneak away for some trout, I'll be conventional.  Missing my fly adventures but that's the way it is in Arkansas right now.  The tailwaters are generating at maximum levels.

  1. Yeah Drew. I'm certainly happy that someone is getting out and the yak in that water sure looks like fun. Well done with the video.

Awesome bucket mouth action fishing the cypress swamp that I would love to fish if I lived closer. Great job on the camera, a few question, since I use the Contour, how did you have the camera mounted and do you use a helmet mount? I have found that is my best way to film using the helmet.

P.S. what did the largest bass weight? Thanks for sharing

    1. Thx Bill. I'm using a extendable painters pole and pole mount that came with my GoPro. I have the head mount also but it gives me a headache. You should check out the action cam hat from Live Live Now if you like that angle. Thinking about picking one up. I caught 3 that were ~10 lbs last week. My camera skills aren't that good and only managed to get a pic. Uploaded to Facebook.

    1. Thx man. No, they are so reclusive they seem to always be trying to keep their distance. I rarely even look for them anymore b/c it distracts me from fishing.
