It's still a favorite place to fish so I'll deal with the wind. It wasn't too bad...just not great for fly fishing, and I really wanted to catch a few on the fly. In a few weeks the popper/frog bite will be in full swing. Lots of fish in this lake. The challenge is getting to them and then getting them out. It'll be fun. looknfishyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02007478861031562900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5538303692462810144.post-49215262871173298542015-04-23T16:57:04.976-05:002015-04-23T16:57:04.976-05:00Sometimes that's enough, isn't it! The older, wiser bass know how to get back into the salad....and we have a lot of salad around here. looknfishyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02007478861031562900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5538303692462810144.post-38663985792455734732015-04-23T12:26:03.242-05:002015-04-23T12:26:03.242-05:00Still more time on the water than I'm getting

Just when you think you are out of it's power it finds you again and screws up any chance you might have making that perfect cast to that spot you know you are going to land that monster bass or gill. What an awesome place you were fishing there, has to have to nice gills. The big ones make you change angles a lot to keep pressure on them. Doing that from a seated position is harrrd sometimes.
